• Zoom Access: You do not strictly need a Zoom account to join. However, to ensure the fewest technical issues, I recommend downloading the Zoom App (https://zoom.us/download)for your device and creating a free account before the session begins.
 • Audio & Video: Please use headphones with an embedded microphone. This ensures the best audio quality and maintains your personal privacy during the session.
 • Connectivity: A stable internet connection is essential for a smooth experience.
 • Pre-Session Test: Please test your camera and microphone at zoom.us/test (http://zoom.us/test)before the meeting starts.

Where is the Zoom link for my private or group session?

Accepted Answer

Your Zoom link is located within the confirmation email sent by the booking system (scheduling@acuityscheduling-mail.com)(mailto:scheduling@acuityscheduling-mail.com).

To join the session:
1. Open your confirmation email and look for the heading labeled "Where."
2. Click the link "Click to join meeting..." provided in that section.
3. You will be directed to a page containing the meeting details and the "Join Meeting Now" button.

I didn't receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link after my booking. What do I do?

Accepted Answer

First, please check your Spam or Junk folder, as automated emails from the booking system (Acuity) can sometimes be filtered there.

If you still cannot locate it:
 • Search your inbox for "Shar Jason" or "Acuity Scheduling."
 • Email me at contactsharjason@gmail.com (mailto:contactsharjason@gmail.com)at least 15 minutes before the session starts, and I will resend the link to you manually.

How do I test the camera and microphone prior to the session?

To ensure your audio and video are working correctly, I recommend running a quick test at least 15 minutes before we begin:

1. Visit the Zoom Test Page: Go to zoom.us/test (http://zoom.us/test)and click the blue "Join" button.
2. Follow the Prompts: Zoom will walk you through a series of steps to test your speakers (you will hear a ringtone) and your microphone (you will record a short clip and hear it played back).
3. Check Your Video: Ensure your camera is clear and positioned at eye level so we can engage comfortably during the session.
Tip: If you are using external headphones or a separate microphone, make sure they are selected in the Zoom "Audio Settings" menu during the test.

How do I ask a question during a public meeting?

Accepted Answer

If you would like to ask a question (when permitted), please use the "Raise Hand" feature in Zoom:

1. Click on the "Reactions" button located at the bottom of your Zoom screen.
2. Select the "Raise Hand" option.
3. Shar will see your virtual hand raised and will answer questions in the order they were received.
Note: Please remember to unmute your microphone when Shar calls on you, and mute yourself again once your question has been answered.
